I’ll have to keep an eye on e-Bay to see if extended door trims (part kit) appear with sine ludicrous starting bid like 5p on them (postage £20) Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Wonder how long you would need to drive around following new Defenders before you had a full set?

When I bought my turbo diesel 90 in 1990 the passenger door needed adjustment. It did not take very long. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Had a look at the updated Disco Sport. It now gets Pivi Pro but I noticed it has ‘hey Land Rover’ voice control. Haven’t noticed it on the Defender unless I’ve missed something. Interestingly the base DS has ‘hello Land Rover’ voice control

Not sure how much discount you get, but LR Rockar Stratford are now an authorised LR dealer that sell online. Maybe worth a try if you are considering ordering as they do not have the multi-million pound showrooms that our usual dealers have.

Do these stains appear because dirty water is dropping from the door seal when the door is opened after its rained?

Yeah I think it’s when the doors open. The material reminds of my D3 seats, I’m sure they suffered the same.

yep my original D3 had cloth seats and it was like that, most of the time it did dry ok but water stains did appear on occasion.
We went for the "vegan" interior option on one of our other cars water drops do show and spread into blotches but it always dries without staining so the tech is there to overcome it.
