Central locking barrel
Evening. The drivers door lock barrel has decided to seize and after taking it out, it is completely ruined.

I know you can get a replacement barrel cheaply, but my question is, can I get a barrel made up to match my current key?

I don't want an additional key for one door, I want it to be the same for all doors and my ignition. If anyone has had this issue and knows a resolution then please let me know.

Behind the dash binnacle there should be a paper tag tied on to your ignition key barrel. With that number you can get what you need from JLR (supposedly) Neutral 🤷‍♂️

The key number is also sometime recorded on a tag attached to the keyfob, but if the vehicle was preowned it probably isn't there any more. A good automotive locksmith (if you can find one) should be able to re-tumbler the lock to suit a particular key, this isn't difficult but you need access to supply of tumblers.
