The 90 looks fab, don’t know if I could live with it though. A bit too many compromises for me I think.

No boot space (well two carrier bags from the supermarket max, not even a folded child’s 4x4 buggy will fit - that’s important in Chelsea) with the rear seat up, big step in the boot floor when they are folded down. OK so the rear of the old 90 wasn’t huge but it was narrow lengthwise and flat between the wheel boxes. I could easily get the EU Standard dead sheep in there without messing up the seats in the old one, not in the new one. The dead sheep would be very uncomfortable across the step where the seats fold and just image the blood on your smart “hard wearing” fabric trim........ Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

The floor isn’t level?!! What a stupid thing to do! When would anybody want a split level floor?!

Maybe LR or some aftermarket supplier could manufacture some sort of shelf or drawer addition to bring the 90 load space level.

90 looks awesome but that would only work as a ‘second’ car as it’s way too small in the boot. Hence I’ve gone for the 110 which admittedly isn’t quite as easy on the eye and is probably a tad bigger that I need Sold the Puma Defender and bought a brand new Pangea Green 2020 Defender D240 S with a few factory extras!

I could work around most of them, folding the seats down for the dogs ain’t a real issue but ideally I would’ve preferred them to fold flat. Boot space is limited but again not a really big issue. Most of the time I’m in the car on my own and I’ve no kids so I’m still tempted by the 90. I’d consider the Hard Top depending on the prices, as I’ll have to pay the VAT. |

Much prefer the proportions of the 90 but have yet to see any pictures or video of the inside showing rear seats in all configurations.

Our boss at work had one for 2 weeks of JLR Summer shutdown. Managed to get a good look over it and noticed it had a different sort of cloth material to what I've seen on the Land Rover build your own site. This was more a Khaki green colour and similar to the fabric of late Tdci models. It look more hard wearing and the dash was similar too. The 90 versions will be in showrooms from 14th September , so the girl at our local dealers told me Friday when i picked my 110 up for the 3hr test drive. No doubt I'll be getting a email to invite me down for a butchers hook... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..
