MPG ... whats yours?
Just curious since having my EGR 'mapped' out by Ian [IRB Developments] so did a calculation of the mpg following 100 miles driven around town, followed by 230 miles on motorway at about 70/75 mph [apart from bloody traffic!!]

Works out at 30.6 mpg Shocked

Happy with that Cool ... whats yours doing?? Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Off Topic Where are you again Glyn??? Oh yes that's it Cyprus! Mr. Green Surprised you've not posted any pictures of you in your 'dodgy shorts' apparently Facebook's plastered with them! (Little bird told me!) Bet you've got some 'budgy smugglers' tucked away somewhere too! Off to do as you suggest right now! Don't suppose you've had much rain of late?

Haha, 'Budgie smugglers' not for me thank you, I am not quite yet integrated into the local population yet..... But Greek lessons start next month and then I may have to buy a set (and get a wig for my back!!).

The other day the weather girl said it might rain.........it didn't (2.5 months and not a drop).

Good to see you are taking some good advice Very Happy

A brimmed tank to the fuel light coming on gives me bang on 350 miles. Don't matter what type of driving I do I always seem to get 350!! I know thats 60 litres of fuel used so 26.5mpg. Been on long motorway runs and dont get more either.

I get less on Motorway runs, faster you go less you get in my DCPU. Mines averaged 26.2mpg over the last 12k miles. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

I was going to say (again, I think) how the hell do you folks get 28, 29, 30 + mpg from your Defenders?? I very rarely got over 25 in my 90, and its the same in my DC! I don't often go over 70-75 (mostly stick around 60-65). I don't accelerate hard or do lots of start-stop town driving either.

If this had been the D3 forum (which my other comments may have been made), then I'd just accept that it's owners believing what the on board computer was telling them, but it isn't (obviously)!

What on earth am I doing? Doesn't cause me any sleepless nights (yet), but 6+ mpg difference in some cases is 25%+ better than I'm getting, and it could save a few quid over the year(s). Mark
