puma speedo pairing
Hi Guys does anyone know if you have to pair a new speedo/ dash to the ECU to get it to work, im guessing you will to matchg the mileage but what about the other stuff , will the speedo, rev counter, temp and fuel gauge work without pairing it to the ECU.

regards

Daz

some of you guys must know about this.

im trying to sort my indicator fault out and ive narrowed it down to the dash clocks , but need to know if i fit new clocks with the plug and play or do they need mating up to the ECU for the rev / speedo and everything else to work correctly.

2.4 is a case of just plugging it in, and it works fine, but it retains the odometer history of the vehicle it came from. Sorry don't know about the 2.2, but I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon .

thanks for the info, i thought you must be able to plug and play these clocks and then pair with the ecu for the mileage
