Well she failed , nothing major except for rubber boots , so getting 3 new ball joints fitted and off we go again , mind you , she’s only done 270mile since last time , so glad nothing nasty appeared

3 new ball joints fitted and headlight adjusted , and she’s all ready for another year , the first local pit day is on Sunday 24th August , unless we get any rain , I doubt I’ll go , the pit will be like concrete and it be to uncomfortable for me , must be an age thing

Hello everyone , went for a blast with no roof on , and had already noticed my super snorkel which weighs a lot was collapsing my bulkhead , to the point where the door would not shut , so removed the windscreen and the bracket has rotted away , I’ve cut it all out and will build a little bracket to prevent it happening again , although I’ll not run the snorkel now unless I crossing the lake

Whilst I wait for my windscreen to bulk head foam to appear , I thought I’d test fit the screen for strength ,it’s so solid and zero movement , I’ve now permanently ditched the 3” home made snorkel-ish and I’ve got some reinforced hose coming , I can slide this on for lake crossing and off for the rest , gave the screen a dam good clean too , lovely

Cheers dude Hope you are well ? I’ve fitted the new foam between the screen n bulkhead and fitted the screen properly . I’ve got the air intake at the side of the front wing again as factory for the forthcoming pit visit , yep I’m going Sunday . I’ll sort the snorkel another day ( I must not cross the lake ) I’ll bung with wing hole up with some tape

A brilliant morning at the pit , the lake is now a puddle, it’s got to be down by 2ft , but was still great fun , recent rain made it soft enough for the special tracks to work there magic . As usual there was several raised trucks with hugs tyres and huge lifts , but they always seem to break really easily , anyways my tub has moved so tomorrow she gets cleaned and tub adjusted as I got the day off , more pics as they appear
