My iPad doesn’t like to down load them, I’ll have to blow the cobwebs out of the MacBook and see if they show on that! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

South Africa 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Alpine White
Ooooh, some exciting news - friend of mine has now done 3000km in his new Defender, and now wants to test if off-raod against my RRS.

We are now debating which of these two trails we're going to do:

The first one has some very technical sections, and my RRS struggles a bit with the one obstacle requiring plenty of rock building, whereas the second one will be very slippery as it has been raining non-stop for the past week.

That tricked out 90 will also be there, along with another new Defender.

decisions, decisions! --

^ yep, ground clearance is better on the Defender.

but mostly it's for him to learn how to drive a modern LR, he's only owned Pumas for the past 10+ years --

Make sure he knows how to engage super extended suspension height. Did you try the place where you had to build the small stone ramp to clear your front bumper in super extended height? If he has AT tyres on the New Defender instead of the all seasons that they come on here, he shouldn’t have too many problems.
One thing for off-roading the new one I don’t like is no paddle shifters, they were so useful off-road in my RRS for manual shifting without taking your hand off the wheel like you have to now. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

That's one thing I wanted that I felt was missing in the New Defender. Moving from a Freelander 2, the gear selector in the Defender works in the opposite way! That will require practice to avoid mistakes and become second nature without having to think in advance.

How long before PowerfulUK has an upgrade for paddle shifters? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

I’m just not a fan of the gear selector at all, I found it was in the way of everything, perhaps just a case of getting used to it.

Select Defender:- then at approximately 15:38 he clearly states you can select the gears using the shift paddles either side of the steering wheel. So who stole them?

Interesting Defender 2020 review. It looks like the car is not Land Rover press car. Unfortunately in Russian.

The most interesting part is after 50 minute mark. When traction control for releases brakes while the car is stopped on incline and it starts to go downhill scaring the reviewer

Thanks for posting this. That’s pretty concerning and I’m not surprised LR didn’t want it shown. Someone needs to work out what went wrong and fix it quick!

Slip of the tongue I think, there’s an article somewhere, I think it’s with Mike Cross, where he says they deemed them out of place on Defender unlike on the Sport which offers a more spirited drive.
