How do I change the lock barrel in my 90?
I have done both front doors and fitted a new steering ignition lock, because the old locks were seized and the ignition lock was temperamental. I’d really like to fit a new matching barrel to the rear door. Many posts refer to a brass pin to push in on the outside of the casing, and pull it out with the key. I have cleaned all the crud off and cannot see a pin to push in. It looks like the lock assembly is fixed together with rivets, do I need to drill these out? Puzzled at the moment! Ok that’s great, thanks very much. I must have the later type. It’s all back together now, but will whip the door card off again tomorrow. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Pretty sure your hole to release the cylinder is corroded over. Have a closer look and drill it out if needed. Good luck
