[For Sale] Defender TD5 XS Station Wagon
Sadly due to the current financial situation our pristine 2005 Defender 90 XS Station Wagon has to go. This Defender is in showroom condition and has no corrosion spots at all on the bodywork, not even on the rear panel.
The chassis is superb, the best I’ve seen (it’s why we bought it)
I’ve spent a fortune on the Land Rover including a new Valeo clutch and DMF, brand new Land Rover OE front seats, new aircon condenser, new driveshafts, battery, alternator, starter, injector seals, harness, new front bumper, side steps, mud flaps, new OE rear door, four new boost alloys with tyres, diesel filter housing, new heated screen and seals, alpine window seals, wiper motor and drive/spindles, brake discs and pads, stainless vent flap pins, full service including all oils, full bulkhead doors etc wax injection, new differential seals, swivel preload done, plus upgraded alarm plus other security

This has to be the best TD5 90 XS Defender you will find, there’s nothing at all on the to do list, it’s all been done, and the bodywork is completely unmarked.
It’s well worth coming to see if you are looking for a TD5 XS 90 Station Wagon

I will be heartbroken to see it go, l paid £15,000 for it last year and have spent well over £7,000 since then (all receipts available) plus over £800 on various security products (upgraded alarm plus other devices)

£18,000

So sorry to hear you're selling your pride and joy. Hope your situation turn around and you can keep it. Big Cry
Do you have the current mileage as have a colleague looking for a low mileage TD5 XS or limited.

Currently on 104,000

There’s just none of these for sale at the moment, l’ve spent ages looking online for a guide to the price l should sell it for. My local LR specialist has a very clean 100,000 mile TD5 County Station Wagon at £19,995 and a very nice 90,000 mile 2003 County Station Wagon at £16,995

There aren't many TD5's in this condition

The bodywork is absolutely pristine with no marks, dents, scratches or corrosion scabs at all.

It's very tidy, though I reckon a smidgeon strong on the asking price, my G4 Limited Edition was asking £17.5k, it's not what he got though.

I think it may sell, but you'll probably have to wait...

Moto-Drome are currently looking for 90's like this if you're looking to move it quicker, I beleive they offer realistic prices as a trader.

I'd be taking the fuel cap off and sell that seperately... that won't be worth a damn thing on the sale of the 90.

Just sold my 2004 90 TD5 Pickup for £7300 which was in decent condition for year but no where near the mint condition of Lightnings 90 XS. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

l am open to offers, l've had an offer of £16,000 from a dealer.

l would take off the fuel cap, but it's grey so won't match my Cairns Blue 110

That's a fair offer from a dealer, I know you pay more at a dealer, but they give the buyer the chance of p/ex and possibly finance/suicide.
Jim (Joe) Hallam is also a good buyer.

I'd be interested in the fuel cap if you took it off/sell Smile
