You say that, but try and find a good TD5 XS Station Wagon for that money. l spent ages looking last year and they all look nice in the adverts but need loads of work to get them sorted. l guess it depends on how good you want it to be. l paid £15,000 for this one and it was fine, my missus drove it and said it seemed OK, but the rear door was bent behind the spare wheel, there was a fair bit of backlash in the transmission, the clutch was sticky when hot, the aircon worked but wasn't great, the differential seals were leaking, windscreen had stone chips, alloys slightly past their best, etc Most people would have just lived with it, but sadly l am a perfectionist, to the detriment of my bank balance. |

Take the deal.
Most private buyers would need finance. 18k from the dealer and you'd get some kind of comeback or warranty. Not that it'd need it though. Looks lovely. |
