There are many, many aspects of that that float my boat. Will it come to the UK?

Hold on...I'm pretty sure that the Ford Bronco Sport is coming to the UK in RHD, so I can see a time when the Bronco will. Will Ford ignore calls from Australia, Japan, South Africa and the UK? I'm optimistic. But whatever, it will kill sales of the new Defender in the US and Canada. Now left. |

I doubt it will kill New Defender sales in the USA, Land Rover products appeal to a different market to those buying Jeeps and Broncos and Land Rover sales there are minute anyway. I reckon the company that has most to loose is Toyota and sales of Land Cruiser or whatever it’s called in the US market.
A friend of mine in Maryland who has Jeeps running through his veins has just had a test drive in the New Defender..........he has a Wrangler Rubicon. Maybe I should say he HAD a Wrangler Rubicon! Why? Well he’s now got a young family and a bit of comfort and practicality for a family is needed not extreme off road ability, also the Wrangelr just doesn’t feel safe compared to the new Defender. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

It's all about the CO2 in the EU I'm sure. The full size Bronco may well cause them problems. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

I was beginning to warm to the new Defender, but now I've seen the Bronco & Grenadier I've lost all interest.
And that makes me sad. |

Just enjoying the details:

Easily removable doors..Pah, that's no big deal. People regularly remove doors and bonnets from Defenders. Even in complete darkness. WARNING.
