Solar panel wiring entry point help
I fancy putting a solar panel on the roof of the 110 and I wonder if anyone would help me choose the best way of getting the wiring in to the vehicle please?

What route do you use please?

TIA.

Stuffing gland through the roof with lots of CT1 to keep it there.

Thumbs Up

:edit:

one of these in case you're wondering what one is Mr. Green

Do you have a raised air intake? If so you can run the cable inside.
Same with a rear ladder, the exit point can be underneath.

These are also very good and used widely in the marine market, the problem with stuffing glands is the mating surface and washer isn’t big enough and will eventually allow water to pass 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Thanks everyone.
That scanstrut jobbie looks spot on as well.

I don't have a snorkel or a rear ladder so maybe I will put the entry point high up on the rear of the truck.

Did the same yesterday, made a couple of holes in the rear panel above the door and used a well fitting grommet
