Phone holders
What is everyone using for phone holders on here? Especially large phones like the Pro Max iPhone or similar large phone.
I like Ram mounts, and the Xgrips are popular just wondering what others are using?
I see that some (not Ram) require a dedicated case, which isn’t something I’d want as I have a clear case on mine.

Always good to see what clever solutions members are using on here.
I’m leaning towards the large Xgrip from Ram but but still curious as to what others are using.

Following on from this, what kind of dash mounts are you using?
Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

^^ Been happy with Brodit holders for mine. Can buy case specific or adjustable versions, charged or not etc. Really solid mounts and high up - I use mine for nav all the time as it’s more in line of sight than going for say, CarPlay via double DIN. 2012 110 XS SW Orkney Grey

I have a trio of genuine Samsung suction based holders, one of which has wireless charging. Big enough to fit a Note 9 with a diving case on it, they fit easily and we're £20 a pop (£40 for the wireless charger).

I use a RAM mount attached to the top of the dash. Can’t fault it. Charlie

I have a limitless 3 case, and think it's great - have you got the windscreen or vent version?
Wondering if the vent mount would work by itself, or to get the suction mount & screw it to my excellent & secure Brodit vent mount...
Shame it's not also a wireless charger, it looks like it should be.

Thank-you all - I will look at the options suggested.
Currently I have a ball mount on the LHS torx screw on the drivers side dash binnacle top.
I did previously have for my old iPhone a clip in holder by Ram, but the trouble is you can’t then use a case.
My phone has glossy graphics on the back which makes it a touch thicker and a clear protective cover so it then obviously doesn’t fit those type of clip in holders.
It’s not something you’d want to do often for that purpose.
I’m still looking at the Xgrip, but I’ll look at the Brodit options too.
Secure mounting is my main interest rather than charging and in a suitable location.

Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.
