Electrical Fault
Ok as many of you know i have a 130 TD5 as just append temp gauge reads normal but put my foot down it drops to zero take my foot off and back up only done this once but the heater on and engine cut out would not start ok got recovered to my garage could not fined any faults on on so replaced ECU and still the same it runs ok but still has the fault any one any idea what it could be dont want to risk going out again till repaired .

check earthing for ECU battery to chassis - chassis to body work bottom drivers seat box in side

replace coolant sender


how old is starting battery Question if battery voltage to low when at starting load ecu will not fire the injectors

crank sender or its wiring will stop engine from starting

Good battery when back in garage stated with a little charge always been a good starter had it from new 17 years RLD fabricator of Hidden Winch Mount for D3/4 roof racks jerry can holders CB aerial mounts and much more and agent for Helsport Tents and gear

Ray, have a look here, try running a new ground/earth wire to the ECU ground stud in the seatbox.
