Air con grill on non air con Puma..
I am thinking about changing by KBX set up for the Heritage/Twisted look. However I don't like how the new grill would sit flush on a non air con truck. Is it possible/simple to fit the air con surround grill?

This is the grill - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defe...3515854343

Cheers.

Yes, although you'd have to also source and fit the lower fixing points for the grill surround. Darren

As above, easily fitted to non-aircon models you make up two(?) simple brackets (I've used a bit of ally plate in the past) if you don't want to buy the specific bits. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

It’s really simple, I’ve just fitted air con to my td5 and it’s just two bits of kinked flat bar with holes at either end for to screw it in place then your normal four screws on the slam panel at the top. Ray

Changing the topic of thread slightly, did you use an aftermarket kit or genuine take off to fit air con? 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

If that question was for me ^^^ I’ve been buying up genuine bits when I’ve seen them up for sale for the last couple of years and while my front wings were being replaced (due to someone running into me) I figured I’d get the last bits together and fit it all while the front end was apart. So it’s the normal factory set up basically, there’s a few pics in my build thread and I can add some more if there’s anything you want to see Thumbs Up Ray

Is there a part number or anyone got a link to the actual brackets needed?

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket one? Interested to know if the quality is acceptable or not.

Presume you mean aftermarket air-con grilles? I have one in the loft, not fitted yet but, it seems very well made. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread
