Cant get MudUK reverse LED to work
I thought the first one was faulty so they sent me another. I have a LUX branded LED reverse light and it works. When I put try MudUK, there higher end one doesn't light up. Anyone else had this happen or any ideas how to make it work/https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/electrical/exterior-lighting/defender-95mm-nas-defender-reverse-lamp.html

Thanks

Have you swapped the polarity of the cables?

I'll try popping out the pins and swap the cable to see if it works. I would hate to think two were wired wrong?

^^

Worth trying this, as your reverse light plug (on the vehicle harness) may be wired back to front. Or the socket on the lamp may be wired in the wrong pins.

Or post some pics of which wire is where on the plug and on the socket and I'll check what they should be.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

LED's are polarity sensitive. Rgds.

Had a similar problem on some plough lights I recently bought for my tractor. Someone on the Chinese production line couldn't tell the difference between a red wire and a black wire or decided to swap them around for sheer devilment. Defender 90XS SW
