i think a bit of social unrest is just what the government needs to show how frustrated we all are. i know the violence doesn't solve anything but it the only way some know how.

WHAT?! This has NOTHING to do with economics, and everything to do with a certain type of person realising that the police are not reacting quickly enough and they can steal what they want. This is about stealing and entertainmnet, not the youth protesting about government cuts, don't confuse the two. |

I don't know why we're wasting our time with this! Let's just go to London, take whatever diesel we can lay our hands on and smash every window en route! Starting fires is compulsory. If you don't start a fire OR throw a brick at a policeman, you're not allowed any free fuel. |

That was my take on it. Not that I condone what has happened, it is symptomatic of people who perceive they have no future, ie, no jobs, can't afford a house or rent, can't save anything due to spiralling prices...locking them up or shooting them won't take away the root causes, and it will mean it just happens again. Just heard some comments re the young scumbags commiting ARSON, THEFT, VIOLENT DISORDER
The first ones are being given youth referral orders What is one of those?? Oh you poor deprived child, you don't have the latest blackberry/ipad/PS3/ 148" plasma screen tv in your bedroom? Here have a holiday/voucher to spend as they like. FFS if they have done the crime they should do the time. My two older brothers did a lot less then those sort of offences when they were young and were sentenced to Approve Schools/Borstals. Guess what the next 50 odd years they have been law abiding citizens Under the current wave of do gooders they would have been sent away on holiday as during that time our Dad was extremely ill and dying. If Dad had been well he would have sorted them out quickly with a belt. Yes it would be a belt from a 2" leather belt. Oh you can't do that these days as it would be child cruelty etc. These scumbags have not experienced discipline at home/school. There is nothing wrong with discipline including physical discipline in a loving caring environment. Sorry rant over. This has nothing to do with the public rising against the government in a "revolution" style and everything to do with this countries liberal and soft approach to the lazy whining fxxkers in this country who believe they deserve everything handed to them on a plate....we've been too soft for too long...encouraging people to to stay on the dole and drain the life blood of this country while the tax payers cover the costs. Allowing the little scrotes on the streets to terrorise and destroy because the police and courts can't give them what they need...which is good a slap! If it thought this was a public uprising against the government and all that it stood for then I'd be behind it.....but it's not...it's a minority of lawless idiots with no idea about osterity cuts because most of them have never worked or want to work. Send in the Army...rubber bullets and water cannons....round the cxxnts up, stick em on the 1st plane to Afghan and let them walk ahead of the good folks of the armed forces and act as body Armour!!!
