Im talking from my own experience where i only use the chainsaw once a year, and leaving a battery to stew for that long cannot do it any good. I might be wrong, but for me Aspen fuel is my solution to this |

Batteries are better now, I have a Dewalt one and it uses the same batteries as my dill and grinders etc so they never sit round and always have plenty of batteries and chargers to keep the saw running almost continuously, had 4 chargers running yesterday to feed it with 4/5 ah batteries 😄 1997 110 Hi-Cap Keswick Green 1997 90 Truck Cab Blue 1996 Discovery Pickup |

I bought this yesterday as we’ve loads of trees in the garden and a Dutch barn full of wood that needs chopping up for the log burners. What a great bit of kit and more than adequate for what I need without the hassle of mixing 2 stroke and no servicing required.
Already have the Stihl strimmer which takes the same battery and gives me about 45 mins of continuous use. Click image to enlarge6B4979BB-4AA1-4331-95BF-70F31979557D by Alex L, on Flickr |
