Does anyone have, or could get, the measurements for the spare wheel on a 300 TDi rear door. I've got a mantec spare wheel carrier which has a plate that gets mounted in the same place as the original carrier, but I've binned my old door! Any help much appreciated! Ben

Which measurements precisely are you looking for? The holes for the bolts which hold the plate on, or the distance of the plate from the door edge and window?

Both really, just so I can get a good idea of the position of the plate and the holes. Don't want to drill my brand new door to find out its in the wrong place! Ben

On mine, which is a 2004 110 with a Mantec carrier the hole positions are
Top left = 10 cms below window rubber & 33cm from LH edge of door Top right = 36cm to right of Top left hole & 21.2cm from RH edge of door Second row is 8.5cm below top row bottom row is 29.5cm above bottom edge of door. I would however check elsewhere as well, as on the Mantec site the carriers for pre-2002 model has a slightly different part number. Tazz |
