Same with Continentals Your right Red Dot it's pea shingle on driveways and pebbles on the beach car park (same thing!) Had one go through one of my Pirelli's on the SAAB last weekend, It was a flint shard! Needed two new front one's anyway, went for cheaper Dunlops this time... |

Yep I am still young and grumpy Banks are a PITA They have admitted they cocked up on charges! Yes what is new. Apparently they cocked up on Forex charges and are putting charges back and are going to recharge us. My guess no matter what they will charge us more! We told manager that we were going to change banks and he did not care less! Brendan |

It's shooting pedestrians & cyclists etc that is my concern, can get 20 odd in each tyre and they fly out all over the place on a busy single track road where most walk to and from the waters edge!

well . As I admire my lovely BFG ATs in the shed imagining how cool they will look when fitted to my Defender when I pick it up in 4 days time I'm now thinking of how much messing about I'll be doing picking bits of my gravel drive out of their grooves for years to come |

If it helps at all Rossy....we have a 20mm gravel drive (grade of gravel, not length of driveway before anyone asks ) Peppa runs on BFG ATs. I don't get very many stones in the treads. A few yes but nothing that makes them look like a doughnut covered in 100's and 1000's (am reliably infomed by the kids that they're called sprinkles these days) Also, since changing to the BFG's from the old stock Grabber TR's I get hardly any 'pick and flick' any more whilst out on the roads generally.....Frightened the life out of me initially.... sounded like somebody was taking pot shots at my windscreen with an air rifle. Maybe now though I've just become a silent assassin... and the BFG's fire the stones out sideways rather than up into the wheel arches......... hmmmm.......... mwaaaaahhhhh ........ time to go and find a couple of Lycra clad Lance Armstrong Wannabees that continue to feel the need to ride two abreast on village roads..... every cloud and all that...... Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

Yeah you may get smaller one's stuck but they are not a problem and can flick out. It's the biggies that are the problem. I didn't have as much of a problem when I had BFG AT's but I know more people now use pea shingle to cover their drives than smaller "gravel" as it's sooo much cheaper. I use it a a lot in my business |

They me off in that if you are having an kind of difficulties, they just rob you blind with charges etc and will not help you. Even when you try to pay stuff they refuse to take your money! They are very much geared towards expoliting the poorer sector of society whilst further lining their own pockets. It really is sickening. 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |

Correction low life scumbags who are too idle to work for what they want. Morons who don't care about other peoples lives or possessions. How many people have been made homeless, have lost their jobs/livlihoods/life savings etc? Brendan |
