Drivers side electric window motor

My electric window motor has become very noisy is it time for a new one 🤔

As above, unless it got soaked it is likely just full of crap and needs cleaning. Pull it apart and have a look

If you do need to replace the motor then as far as I remember the Saxo ones are the same and easier to get 2nd hand if you want a more cost effective solution. Only difference is Saxo passenger side fits Defender driver side and vice versa.
