As far as i know they are both the same
Most things bought from Land Rover have a hell of a mark up. I guess to cover any warranty issues. I remeber years ago i had an accessory price list that quoted a jackall high lift jack for £150 whereas i bought mine at the time for £50. If you are after one i would suggest ebay (thats where mine came from for £40) or a 4x4 auto jumble - the one for my 110 at the time was £30.00. Mark |

Mark on this rare occasion the land rover one is cheaper, ! I am watching both types at the moment on eBay and wanted to go after the better quality unit.

I don't know whether the two specific ones that you're looking at are the same model, but Dixon Bate make the NATO hitches for the MoD and Land Rover, so the quality of those two will be the same.
There are alternative makes out there (particularly on eBay) that are cheaper, but the quality isn't as good IMHO. You can have mine for £50 with the slider. I bought it from Dunsfold DLR as new old stock so quite rare. It's the real deal not a cheap imitation. It came in red undercoat and I have since painted it black. I have only used it a handful of times

Same item. They are extremely expensive new - like about £275 if you buy through the LR supply chain. |
