Hi, I bought an original Land Rover fuel cap for my TD5 90 a couple of years ago. The cap was the one with a rubber strap on it so as it can be secured to the Truck. I never secured it as I didn't want to drill a hole for the dangly bit. However having now left the cap at the Sainsburys on a fill up I'm more inclined to drill the hole!
Can anyone identify where the hole would normally go please. Pic are fine, thanks.... Mike Hard Top 90 TD5 2001 Ford 100e 1959 www.youtube.com/mikemakesit |

I bought a replacement cap last week after leaving the other one at the pumps, another genuine one and it seemed poorer quality than the last genuine one I bought 2 years ago. I don't want to buy a third, hence the drill request. I'll be doing this at the weekend! Mike
