Fuel cap
Hi, I bought an original Land Rover fuel cap for my TD5 90 a couple of years ago. The cap was the one with a rubber strap on it so as it can be secured to the Truck. I never secured it as I didn't want to drill a hole for the dangly bit. However having now left the cap at the Sainsburys on a fill up I'm more inclined to drill the hole!

Can anyone identify where the hole would normally go please. Pic are fine, thanks.... Mike

I drilled the hole on mine when I got a genuine LR one. The genuine one locked/unlocked so much better than the cheap one I left at the fuel pump never to see again.....

I bought a replacement cap last week after leaving the other one at the pumps, another genuine one and it seemed poorer quality than the last genuine one I bought 2 years ago. I don't want to buy a third, hence the drill request. I'll be doing this at the weekend! Mike
