Is there any published data, either from the Government, trade bodies or importer to show the total sales of each model currently in Oz?

A number of the dealers i have talked to state much of the interest is coming from D3/D4 owners that could not make the leap to the D5 for whatever reason, and have either hung on to the older Disco platforms, or went elsewhere in the interim period. I think the big question in Oz is how it will impact D5 sales.. Pickles, I believe that all sales were put on hold when most European Countires went into lockdown and all showrooms and car sales outlets were shut down - even servicing (which is considered an essential service) is very patchy here in the UK - my village garage was open for the first week of lock down but for the last fortnight has been shuttered up and the closed sign is out on their forecourt. The only New Defenders out in public will be press cars or those stuck on JLR employees drives or outside their houses.. I’m sure Richard Agnew will be enjoying the use of his one for lots of “essential” journies to show it off. Spotted one today on the M42 - almost missed it TBH.
Seemed a bit bland in comparison to what has gone before. |

I wonder if LR will be selling off the cars loaned out to The Red Cross as special Covid-19 Limited Editions to raise funds for the Red Criss when they are finished with them........... of course they would be 50% more expensive than a standard car to cover the cost of the special LR logo’ designed sticker on the rear side doors and a £25 donation from the sales of each car Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

That will be the value engineered locks failing when the vibration for wind drag causes them to fail... Luckily you can pay extra to have them removed... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse... 2013 Bowler 110 (Sold) 2016 Bowler 90 Rally Spec (Sold) |

No, that's the rear passenger desperately trying to find a way to see out of the side window!

I guess that's the new Defender equivalent to leaving a coffee mug or ratchet on the wing top of an old Defender?
