I would imagine that if it was intentional to reduce prices they may have intended to offer a discount of, say, 10% off retail but somehow it got set to the price being discounted to 10% of retail. If not it could be that their site got hacked, possibly by a disgruntled customer or someone bored of being on lockdown for so long!
I do think that it's a bit poor that they are saying it's a stock problem rather than admitting their website was compromised or at least admitting there were some problems with it. 👎 |

It's just a maintenance message that has been triggered manually (there's a few clues in the response from the server) and some pages are still visible.
I expect they've just turned the shop off cos they fecked up. |

Web site is back up - and as everyone guessed the prices are back up to eye-watering levels.

Exactly. If they had been honest I would have been more understanding. This shows total disrespect for customers. Perhaps they might reflect on the fact demand is linked to price. Very very disappointed. (and they have still not returned my money even though they were happy to take it in an instant) 2010 XS USW

Site working again now, not seeing any great discounts.
I probably own all the land roversI will ever own, so to be honest the future of the company is irrelevant to me. With the way the brand is going and the way they treat potential customers I do not expect them to last long. I tried a dozen; or more times to contact them with the intention of buying a new defender and not a single response. Even tried the LR representative on the forum, useless. 80" 1948 Lightweight V8 Bowler Tomcat 130 Station wagon 90 300tdi (Santana PS10 pick up) Range Rover L322 (Ful fat) |

The Wolfs are still not too bad compared to how much they were last year, but my £63 seat covers are now over £156....

If you want wolfs (ANR4583PM) then LR themselves sell them for £67 each, I bought a set last year at that price. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

So did I, but then they went up to over £120 each. I hadn't checked how much they were recently, but the JLR site said yesterday they were reduced from £140.

I've just bought a Japanese spec D2 V8 which only has the one key so was looking to see how much a spare key would be (they are 315mhz compared to UK spec 433mhz).
Glad I was sitting down when I found what I was looking for... £257!!! How the (difflock) can they justify that??? It's daylight robbery pure & simple!! Unless I can find someone who's converted their Japanese spec car to use 433mhz who wants to offload a key so I have a spare one then I will be looking to do the conversion myself too! |
