have you checked the relay under the dash access panel that feeds the underseat one? Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Hi D-R,
I supose The under seat relay will not click when the under dash is not working.. So it must be in between the under seat relay and headlights. |

I wasn't aware the headlight circuit had a relay - hence the common fault of a burnt out column switch and the aftermarket headlight looms with relays that take the load off the column switch - unless LR in their wisdom fitted relays to the last few years of production.....?

There has always been one relay, which ensure that the headlights are extinguished if you turn off the ignition, however it doesn't prevent the entire headlamp current being passed by both the light-switch and the dip-switch, hence the common failures of both/either switch.
I believe that very late models may have improved wiring, but I have never come across one. |

Jops, the wiring was changed with MY12 to use a relay, which prevents the switch from too much current.

Hi Quirin, did you get a fix for the lights?
I’ve got a MY16 starting to play up the same way! |
