United Kingdom 1995 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Barolo Black
300tdi Seat runner
Decided to take my seats out and strip the old manky hardura seatbox covering in preparation for sound proofing and new matting.

Upon removing the passenger seat I have discovered that the metal bar the seat sits on to slide backwards and forwards has sheered.

I can’t afford new seats at the moment, but could stretch to a new runner for the seat.

All I seem to be able to find is a runner for sparco seats, or I might be being thick and it’s actually manufactured by sparco, either way it doesn’t look like the runner that the seat currently sits on.

Does anyone have the part number for this to hand, or am I better doing a bit of a bodge and welding it back together?

Cheers, dark and the seats are in a heap in the back of the landy.

I’ll snap a pic in the morning and post it up.

Thanks for your help 👍

I think the part no. will be something like hhd500030, or a version of that. But that's for the whole subframe/slider assembly. It doesn't look like the individual bottom runners/sliders are available.

If it were me ( though I don't have a welder) I'd look at trying to find a 2nd hand one on ebay and either using the whole thing, or just the specific piece that's broken. Donald
