Washer question
Recently purchased some new door sills and noticed that the kit came with two different washers. Can anyone shed some light and why this is the case? I have posted a pic below

You have a washer and a spring washer. The spring washer is to stop the fastener from coming loose from vibrations.
You probably have a washer and a spring washer for each fastener. The spring washer goes next to the nut.

Many thanks Balvaig! In other words the spring washer is the last thing to go on the screw/bolt before the nut?

Correct. The spring washer is compressed by the nut, thus securing the fastening.

As above, flat washer to the body then spring washer then nut. Ray
