I am a good way through The complete piano player book 1, just got to work on three more songs, Two of the songs are one for each hand. The other is for both hands, My right hand is more used to playing notes, with me been a keyboard player, the left is more custom to playing chords. So I am training my left hand and learning the lower notes. I am getting better with the C major scale with both hands. Rhythm and timing is getting stronger too.
I took advise from my old secondary school music teacher who introduced me to keyboards 21 years ago. He was over the moon to hear I started back up again. ![]() Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

a little update on how i am getting on with the piano stuff, i have started book 2 now, but keep going back at some of the songs in book 1, just to help build up the left hand, timing and note reading. Also i am looking at a upgrading one of the keyboards, The very bottom one, for a more advanced unit, but i am still researching it before i decide on what do.

Before lock down, I made a mould so that I could cast the polyurethane tyres on the return rollers for my tank project

Wow, there are some seriously capable folks on here...
I’m just trying to get on with the Tornado - for those not in the know, this started life as a grotty £400 RRC some time ago with more rust than paint and now has a fully tubed frame on a cut-down chassis (IVA test looming when I finish...), RX-7 seats, D2 dash and fibreglass panels. Have built every bracket from scratch, wiring loom will be bespoke and other than that it’s completely standard... not!!! ![]() Click image to enlarge |

I've been amassing parts for jobs I didn't want to do for some time....
Swivels have been rebuilt with new seals and bearings. Front diff removed and resealed, axle going back together tomorrow. Replacement DMF is on the living room floor, 40k miles after being told it had about 20k miles left in it.... Might order radius arm bushes to pull them, repaint and rebush. Would love to sort the rear A-Frame, but don't have a press available!! And if I can get hold of some hose, fit the provent I bought on here the other day! |
