The Puma has been especially developed for discerning types who really know and appreciate the true meaning of the word extreme and who just get the aesthetic of gear levers hand carved from solid billet aluminium and then polished to a mirror finish. What some think is a mere bulge in the bonnet was in fact scientifically designed to improve airflow and dramatically improve top speed plus dramatically cut down on wind noise associated with earlier models, this makes the the Puma virtually silent in operation even at motorway speeds. Really. Because Land Rover recognise that many Pumas are a lifestyle choice they are now considering a range of non functioning replica winches and other off road accessories moulded in extreme heavy duty GRP especially for the Puma which can be easily attached to the vehicle using Velcro but which are almost indistinguishable from those nasty, heavy real ones when fitted. To cater for this sector the company are designing a range of specially formulated GRP safe cleaning and polishing products for those Sunday mornings spent lovingly dusting off and buffing your pride and joy. Nah. It's similar to the Td5 but different. Really. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Bit like asking-"What's your wife like,as I am thinking of getting one?" Everyone's opinion will be different dependent on how things have gone. I am very happy with mine-Puma that is. Better curves and chassis than the wife. Also very quiet when one travels and does not mind me lashing on the soapy stuff and painstakingly running a chamoix leather over her-Puma that is. I suppose if I could get a tee shirt to fit the Puma then lash on the soapy stuff that would be pretty close to ideal but the accessory brochure does not list one yet. Surely Land Rover must know how we feel about our pride and joy-Puma that is.Then there is the waxing and slow polishing off.Go on, get one-Puma that is, and join the rest of us here.At least test drive one-Puma that is,it will open your eyes.
Better say that I am also happy with the wife. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |
