What are these Puma things like ?
Right Gang

Im thinking of getting back into Defender Mode (keeping D3)
So, what are the Puma engined beasts like compared with Td5 (which I have already owned)

The reason for asking is, I cant be Censored bothered to trawl through, the no doubt pages of it.

I love the similarities which are only recogniseable to those in the know (some say)? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

PUMA is name dreamed up by Ford and then given to a type of nasty cat and TD5 was a very fine needle used by German embroiderers to sew SS badges on to bad peoples uniforms. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

i find the engine reaction time is completely different that on the older versions, puma seems to have a delay in reaction..

I find the Puma great for overtaking-foot down and off you go. Wonderful car on a long journey from a driver and passenger point of view.Very quiet and refined and the clutch and gearbox are so "light"in use compared to previous Defenders. Fair enough as many people point out it is not a Land Rover engine under the bonnet but I got over that hangup the first time I drove ours.Still smitten after three years of happy ownership. Like I said above, it gets the Thumbs Up from me. Mr. Green 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
