I’m another happy customer, I’ve now had 2 carriers from Brendan without issue

The first one saved the rear of my 110SW from serious damage when a truck reversed in, the replacement has been on the car for nearly 5 years with no issue. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Well there seems to be quite a few people who have had the Nakatanenga stainless steel wheel carrier for a number of years now without issue.

The Nakatanenga wheel carrier is to best of my knowledge the only swingaway wheel carrier available in the UK which is made from stainless steel.

Now 4x4overlander has sent these wheel carriers out to many different countries including the Falkland Islands, Philippines, Singapore, Zambia, Canada and many more countries.

We are not aware of any issues with these units so that 'they are only an 18 month solution'

Nakatanenga are not aware of any issues that makes their wheel carrier 'only an 18 month solution' and they have sent these units world wide.

So Steve/BPman please inform us either on this thread or via PM why you consider the Nakatanenga wheel carrier only an 18 month solution.

Now if anyone has feedback on any of the Nakatanenga or 4x4overlander products please let us know as it could help us improve the products.

I’ve just bought one of these as my lockdown project, I haven’t fitted it yet as I need to paint my rear crossmember and I haven’t reached the boredom threshold for painting yet.

Anyway, the wheel carrier looks like excellent quality and the service from ORE was excellent.

Hopefully, I’ll be bored enough by next week and with some decent weather, get the paint done and the carrier on. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I think my Nakatanenga carrier has been fitted for about 3 years now. It’s pricey but well worth the extra for the quality and 4x4Overlanders service is second to none. WARNING.

I really like the Nak carrier and would definitely have had one, but I’m mulling over the cargo bear roof rack to replace my G4 and didn’t want to blow all my, ahem, ‘essential maintenance’ budget Whistle

Cargo bear is a thing of beauty. Even though I have absolutely no use for one, I regularly have to stop myself ordering. WARNING.

For the amount of time I use my rack, I don’t need one either, but I do NEED one.

Where for art thou BPman?

People want to know why you consider the Nakatanenga wheel carrier are a good 18 month solution.

Nakatanenga and 4x4overlander are not aware of any reason why the carriers should be considered an 18 month solution so please inform us why you are telling people that?

If there are any issues, Nakatanenga wants to know so that the product can be improved.

Now actual owners and users seem to be more than happy with the product, some owners have done extensive mileage with them without issue.

So BPman, please tell us your ACTUAL experience with this product as records would indicate that you have not bought one.

BPman you have claimed publicly that the Nakatanenga wheel carrier is only an 18 month solution, now publicly tell us all why.

Or is it a case of male bovine excrement?

Over to you BPman I amongst others eagerly await your explanation why the Nakatanenga wheel carrier is just an 18 month solution.

I'd buy a Nak carrier if it wasn't for the fact that it would prevent me from opening the rear flap of my IW canopy! Big Cry

Their website appears to have everything out of stock, so how did you get on with ordering?
