To lighten the mood a little during our lockdowns, I thought I'd start up a thread for those who want to share what they are getting up to.

I'm continuing teaching myself bodywork, although progress might be slow if I can't find some new respirator filters.

Good thread!
On my side (we are not in Lockdown but the goverment request to stay at home if we can) Currently working from home and making a good white wine (300 lt) A lot of things to do in the house/defender: rearrange the warehouse, replace a beam in the terrace, change a mat in the Defender, finish the electric connection for the trailer, paint the trailer and reassemble the trailer, paint the master's bathroom among a lot of other things. Not time to be bored. Cheers and stay home! Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

In the process of restoring an old tractor. Hydraulics sorted, completely rewired and now just to repaint. Hope the weather is warm to assist the flow of paint.
Could do with a few litres of Eduardo's wine. Click image to enlarge Defender 90XS SW Mini Countryman Cooper S Morgan Plus 8 |

NAS rear step is coming off again for paint as the first attempt wasn’t great. Going to use bed liner on instead of gloss so will see how that goes.
Got an email from paddock saying they are shutting up shop for the next few weeks. It probably a blessing in disguise, at least as far as the wallet is concerned! |

I love tractors. Probably goes back to my boyhood when I would take turns driving a David Brown during haymaking for a local farmer. Happy days. I’d really enjoy having a go at a renovation like discomog’s but currently time, funds and space don’t permit. Bring on retirement! Fascinated with this project. Love to see some updates if you get chance. |

Made a start on my rear work light project. Although they are brand new, my OCD kicked in and I stripped the lights down so I could take additional rust resisting measures by spraying both sides of the reflectors with clear high temp gloss lacquer. Did the grilles etc whilst I was at it and gave the brackets a couple of extra coats of gloss black. I’ll replace the fasteners with stainless once online ordering kicks in again.

No time for projects - lockdown, so far, has seen me busier than ever trying to manage the fallout! Darren

I'm working on getting this furball to play nicely. On current form it could be a lifetime's work, never mind lockdown project.
