Highly unlikely that anyone would take one off. They are by far the best solution for removing the spare from the back door.
Brendan does sometimes have them on offer... Worth the extra IMHO |

Their only fault is that they are useless if you have a pick-up with an IW canopy.

I’d love a Nakatanenga too but the new prices are out of my reach particularly in the current climate!
Have you seen this as an alternative.... https://www.ore4x4.co.uk/product-page/ore-...rier-black Last edited by rockster57 on 23rd Mar 2020 9:51pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Same problem as the Nak one for me, useless with a pick-up with an IW canopy.
The only one that works for me is the Allisport one which can be modified easily to allow the flap to clear the wheel. |

I have one, its been on my 110 utility since it was new in 2015, so far its done a tour of icceland, 6 tours of Morocco and CapeTown to London, plus countless trips around Europe. Ive had 265/16 on a Blindo rim fitted to it. Still swings perfectly and the only issue I had was last year the powder coating on the cross member bracket peeled slightly, Which after 4 years i was fine with. I did contact Brendan (4x4overland) to ask what was the spec used in manufacture, he follow up with Germany and they sent a replacement, considering Ive had three LR NAS steps in the same period I was blown away, it is incredibly well made and supported.
Their are a few versions from unpainted to powder coated, standard rear door and pickups. If you intend keeping your car bite the bullet and invest. BPman, please share with us all why the Nakatanenga wheel carrier is only an 18 month solution.
We have been using them on our vehicles for quite a while now. On our white 2012 90 the Nakatanenga wheel carrier wheel carrier has had slight damage to the powder coating. Damage caused by me dropping a hammer onto the main bearing part, that was me being clumsy! Now I do not know how many of these wheel carriers have been sold, but having been around the actual manufacturing plant I know they produce them in minimum lots of 300 at a time. Now if they were only an 18 month solution as the UK importer I might just be aware of any issues with them. Have just checked our records and can not see that you have bought one in the last 7 years. Last communication seems to be via email in 2012 where you were thanking us for hospitality from Barbara and Vicky at the B & W show. So please inform both Nakatanenga and ourselves why the Nakatanenga stainless steel wheel carrier is only an 18 month solution. If anyone wants more information please feel free to pm me or better still email me. Brendan |

I am also very happy with mine, supplied from Brendan, for a very reasonable price and fantastic quality. Can’t fault anything about it, or it’s supplier.
Andy. |
