France 2008 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Zermatt Silver
After 12 years and 110.000km

Steering box after 2 years
New uprated clutch and slave cylinder
Bought a new water pump but only needed a gasket
New front brake callipers, old ones fitted with new pistons so are good to use again
Swivel seals leaking but rebuilt hubs at the same time because of vague steering.
New EGR valve
Reverse light switch
Indicator relay x3

Not too bad really. I don't do many long journeys but it does get used every day including dragging large oak and pine trees around my forest. 130 crew cab
98 V8 Disco

mines 9 yrs old but low mileage owned from new, quite a few bits upgraded but the only parts replaced due to imminent failure under warranty at 4 years old are the clutch (rattling) and transfer shaft (excessive play) both known puma weak points. The only part replaced due to failure was the battery but this was because of my intermittent use and being too lazy to put it on a trickle charger. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

There isn’t enough space on the internet to list all my parts failures. WARNING.
