I noticed it wouldn't go flat when we played with one at the dealers, i folded one side down BUT then mrs RDR folded the other and hers looked flater. After I thought or wondered if its like on the D5 and the range rover where initial position is slightly raised but then you can press and hold to force and lock it flat. It's designed to prevent long term compression marks to the seats like you sometimes got on the D4. I wonder if there is a manual equivalent in the defender where you can push it and click it further down. If not its just a bit rubbish. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Black looks good from the side but I think they look less good from straight ahead - why oh why has LR dropped metallic dark green from the colour palette - I think the new one would look good in Aintree, Tonga or Espom Green Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Yeah, if there was one model in Land Rovers range that needed a Green its this one, Keswick would’ve looked nice. I think LR could’ve done a bit more with the front of the new Defender.

If I were a car wrapping business I’d seriously be considering a defender range to compete with landrovers protective offering. And I would offer all the classic colours. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

There is definitely a business model for aftermarket wrapping, considering the cost of landrover's protective wrap which is about 4k Euros 😅

I would imagine that if you specced that option then come the end of the PCP you could be in for a big bill to replace any damaged sections .............. seeing as the dealers don’t like to take your. car back if you have used how they advertise it should be..... Modern LR paint seems very soft too. My current d5 6months old is covered in bramble rash down the side from local lanes. Wrapping companies offering lower half protection could be onto a good thing too and peel it off when time to hand the car back. White roof option too could be an easy wrap to offer over Land Rovers contrast roof £800 option. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Yeah I decided against the contrast roof, I grudge giving them £800 for metallic paint and then giving them another £800 just to paint a tiny part of the car white.

Judging by the factory tour explanation the contrast roof sounds a right pain in the paint process i could see some of the cost when they explained it but at the end of the day for a contrast roof i'd get it wrapped. Also helps with the sell on as it can be removed if the buyer doesn't like it. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Nice blue colour. But this guy tries too hard.
You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Those two aren't used to taking a wheel off a rack...strop through the middle and lower gently, support and guide from below.
