Should be fine
It must be said, though, that jump starting a motorcycle is never a good idea as they have relatively low powered alternators. They can be under a lot of strain to charge a dead flat battery. Fine for a get out of jail free card, but not a good idea to regularly jump start a bike 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Actually chaps - careful with the CTEK. I have 2 bikes with Lithium batteries (lots of newer lightweight bikes have them as standard)...my CTEK just blinks and does not charge them...
You may need a specific lithium battery charger. I have been looking to buy one good quality charger that's switchable between AGM, Lead Acid, Lithium etc, but neither CTEK nor some of the other big reputable brands seem to offer them at a decent price... Would like one single charger for my bikes, Landy, and car... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
