I'm not convinced about the idea of projecting - sunlight will soon cause problems. I've seen a similar idea where the pillar contains some form of led screen. Still a lot of computing power to calculate what should be projected based upon the position of your head. Even the slightest lag in calculation will be confusing.
Personally, I'd prefer more effort going into redesigning the giant pillars that modern cars have. |
