I had a nightmare with my last D4 always specd rear aircon for the dogs but they couldn’t do it on the last one because of weight And co2 emissions. Turns out it was deleted because of the new DEF systems additional weight. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE RR MY23 HSE PHEV D5 MY19 HSE - Now Sold D4 MY16 HSE Luxury - Now Sold D4 MY12 HSE - Gone D3 MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten |

@RDR
Sorry mate, don’t get me wrong - but missing aircon for dogs hardly seems like a “nightmare”... or it is just the matter of British verbal exaggaration? NHF? Makes me wonder if actually 95% of the “incompetent JLR fu**-ups and breakdowns” are little things. And not exactly the kind of stuff that get you stranded in the middle of nowhere. And precisely the latter is the only thing that I’m worried about. |

Nightmare as in the ordering process was. I was on the cutover between my15 and 16 my order sheet had it specd and accounted for then they called saying Land Rover wouldn’t let me have it. 3 weeks of backwards and forwards to get to the bottom of it as the dealer couldn’t fathom it either.
To me personally it was indeed important, it’s a great feature especially if you have dogs. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE RR MY23 HSE PHEV D5 MY19 HSE - Now Sold D4 MY16 HSE Luxury - Now Sold D4 MY12 HSE - Gone D3 MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten |

The 18” alloys don’t look too bad

The 110 looks fantastic - unfortunately the 90 looks like a Vitara

Nice to see the 90 without the stick on rear panel blocking the view from the rear passenger seats...

Is there a photo from the inside showing that it actually does block the view or is the inside a plastic trim piece like the 110?

On the 110 it’s structural on the 90 absolutely nothing.

If the best they could come up with to improve the structural rigidity was to obscure most of the view from the rear seats, then it is absolutely disgraceful. What on earth are they thinking about? It seems completely bonkers to me.
Is this symptomatic of a desperate rush to get something to market even though it makes no sense whatsoever? |
