I like it better with the Steel wheels. However I’m quite alarmed at how huge it is when stood next to that 90 in the street!!! Mahoosive!!!! But I hope it’s a huge success. I’m just so irritated by the high prices so I won’t be getting one anytime soon

The options ain’t great either, they are all in packs. I can’t have the meridian sound system without taking a host of stuff I don’t want and I can’t take the jump seat if I take the comfort pack to get the sound system. Heated steering wheel? Sorry you need to take the cold climate pack.

Agree.
WHY can't I have the HUD option on the SE model?
WHY do I have to have a sunroof on the HSE and can't get a solid roof option (that I can get in White if I want)? Besides Sunroofs ALL leak here in Australia after a few years as the seals die with the 40 degree days and -5 nights (where I live).
WHY can't I have HSE in Diesel?
WHY do they force EU emission standards on cars sold in Non-EU countries (Ad Blue and DPF for a start)?
WHY is the PHEV version availability not announced?
Why does the 6cyl petrol not shut off 2, 3 or even 4 cylinders when cruising (Alfa does it with the Ferrari 6cyl engine in the Stelvio)?

Sorry, it's just not growing on me. The design is mediocre, and that's before it's mechanical inadequacies.

Back to the drawing board land rover, this is not a Defender.

They're all good questions ~ if you want answers why not ask some of the senior management at JLR:

@NickRogersJLR - Nick Rogers, Engineering Director
@theragers - Richard Agnew, Land Rover Comms & PR Director
@gavinjprice - Gavin J. Price, Chief Engineer at JLR
@nealmg1 - Neal Gibson, Chassis Senior Manager at Jaguar Landrover
@jlremc - Official page for Jaguar Land Rover's world-class Engine Manufacturing Centre
@McCons - Ken Mc Conomy, PR guy at Jaguar Land Rover

Packs are because of C02 stuff or every possibility would have to be documented for final C02 blame the ecomentalists not JLR

I would love to know who had the madcap idea to put a fabric sunroof on 90 First Edition cars in the UK - not just a security issue but also a cause of condensation inside a cabin loaded with electronics that need to be kept dry. In current weather conditions across the UK I’m sure it would also soon leak Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Whilst one can never underestimate JLR's incompetence it's extremely unlikely they are unable to calculate 'C02 stuff'. Far more likey they offer packs which ommit certain options in order to upsell. WARNING.

My Mrs runs a Smart cabriolet and it has never suffered any form of condensation or water leak. It appears to be double skinned or lined. It is world's apart from my old LR ragtop, but I imagine JRL have access to this same "modern" tech. I might go so far to say it could be a better solution than a panoramic roof?

Retract the canvas roof and get a wet head with all the water rushing off Laughing

It’s an option I fancied as well.
