The more I look at it, the more I cant quite believe how wrong they've got it... Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains

SOME room to spare?

4 holdalls, 4 snowboards, a pair of shoes and it's full!

What about camping gear, tents, fridge, leisure battery, offroad recovery equipment AND then 4 holdalls ?
Not a chance!
I'll keep my old 110.

Snowboards on the roof or sitting between 4 passengers up the middle?

Either way that looks terribly cramped for such a large vehicle. It's like the opposite of a Tardis. WARNING.

No snowboards on the roof, otherwise it wouldn't fit in the chunnel.

I think 4 up actually is 2 adults and 2 small/smallish children...

He could post stuff of relevance to most of the buyers like how many oil changes he’s had due to oil dilution and how many regenerations the DPF has had to do....... but I suppose that would be bad publicity from the Director of PR - not the truth which is a slightly hard thing for PR guys to grasp. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

The more I see of the people getting the prototypes the more I understand why the whole Landrover brand is now so unappealing to me.

Don't worry, I've been poking him on Twitter about these issues - so far, no response, although he claimed the new Defender would be able to do Baboon's Pass Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter --

I don’t think this will affect the new Defender, my D5 with the 3.0 (single turbo not the now fitted twin turbo from the RRS) engine suffered badly but my Velar 2.0 D240 has went the full 2 years before asking for its service. If it had the D180 then I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole, but the twin turbo D200/240 should be good, though one known issue is balancer shaft issues with the 240 though again mines been fine.

There is a fair amount of under floor storage, on the 5 seater at least, that recovery equipment can be stored.

Perhaps one of the many onboard computers decided that the vehicle was negotiating a particularly tricky off road section whilst exiting the Eurotunnel carriage and prematurely raised the suspension from access mode Whistle

Nice to see they have sent an old school Defender to shadow him on his trip in case he has any further mishaps en route.
