I'm pretty sure people in Pakistan or Zimbabwe would prefer a Toyota than a pre-production LR. “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.

That rings a bell actually, I may have questioned this before - thanks!
Not so bizarre on the 110 as it appears to cover the C-pillar.

Maybe if you have the lunchbox & ladder fitted to a 90 it makes sense.
Either way, hardtop looks best.

That looks like the one that was on display at Goodwood last September. My wife managed to take some pictures including this one of the interior as she managed to open the rear door (which should have been locked, apparently).

In 2003 before L322 FFRR even went on sale a prototype was stolen and Robert Mugabe was photographed being driven around in it in Zimbabwe much to JLR’s and BMW’s embarrassment as there was an embargo on goods going to the country too! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Strewth, there's more luggage space in my lunchbox than there is in that! Rolling with laughter Utterly useless!

Steel wheels seem a popular option... either that or alloys are on back order already...

Is it me, or does that painted rear window panel on the 90 look to be right in the line of sight for rear passengers?
I'm also shocked at how little boot space there is. With the rear seats in place it renders the 90 useless for anything other than local runs with no major shopping planned. What on earth are they thinking of? There looks to be less room in that boot space than there was in my 2 door Wrangler, or even a Jimny Sad

Lohr500...

It's a toy... To take to the shops to meet your friends.... It's not a utility vehicle.... It's not designed to carry anything bigger than a handbag.... It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...
