90 truck cab installation advice
Got an ex mod 1985 90 soft top, got a truckcab from Facebook market believe it came from td5 as it’s in good condition
Previous owner didn’t know what it was from as he bought it and never used it. Fitted it to my Landy and it doesn’t seem to fit well on the top of the windscreen frame.

Am I missing something or is the truckcab too new for windscreen frame ?

I think that all truck cabs are interchangeable from the introduction of coil springs (1983) to the end of production (2016).

In what way doesn't it fit well? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

The driver side gap between cab and roof is about 5 mm and looking side on to the door the top edge gets bigger towards the front on driver side

Sounds like the seal has bunched up under the radius around the corner of the screen and its stopping the bolts clamping it down flush.

Also check that it hasn't been previously over tightened and pulled the inner roof channel down where the captive plates sit Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

If you ran a piece of string around the barrel sides along the tub, doors and bulkhead is it all in alignment?

Cab sitting on the location spikes?

Ex mod land rover... Is any heavy steel bit bent?
