Hello Def2 Team,
I’m looking at options to remove the weak point that is the 10AS module. I also have a Toad alarm system on my 110. This means carrying around 2 fobs, until the 10AS fails at least! I’ve found the following possible solution and would welcome any thoughts from forum elders: https://www.m1n1.de/en/remove-rover-lucas-...zer/ Anyone have experience of this or any other better solution? Yours, NG |

Second endorsement for https://www.technozen-electronics.co.uk/la...-services/
Talk to Paul Brown... he really knows the Lucus 10AS and in my experience will give you sound advice. I explored a possible fault with mine... that was not there, finding the fault elsewhere... what I didn't get was rip it out and start again, I would say he has a realistic take on it, good and bad, what is possible and how to do it. Good Luck... SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Not from TD5 ECU if no fob needed 10AS can be programmed spider so that engine will start from key only
as to ford LR engine ecu if no fob needed 10AS can be programmed spider so that engine will start from key only |

My as10 is also programmed so I don't need a fob. Bell Autoservice can do something with the ECU so it doesn't look for the AS10 so you can get rid of it alltogether. Roel

Thanks, all. Looks like some good options there. Definitely want rid, so may give BAS a call.
