Storage drawer for under rear seats - gauging interest
One of my frustrations with the front facing seat system in the rear of the Puma is the lack of aftermarket storage drawers.

Whilst at Billing I chatted to a suppliers who is looking to get CE/TUV testing done on an underseat drawer system that would replace the underseat metal frame with a locker/draw and still allow room for passengers feet in front of the box.

They suggested the seats would still lock down and fold up in the conventional manner.

Am I alone in thinking this would be a great aftermarket option?

If you would be interested can you add your name to this thread and I can point the supplier to this site.

A brilliant idea but it sounds expensive. Pastic boxes in the boot don't cost much. Sorry or the despondency Thumbs Up

"under rear seats" If you mean the 2 folding seats in the back, I don't think you would then be able to fold your seats up or it would stick out if you did and the contents would be turned sideways. If it was secured to the floor with the seat raising above it, it would block your otherwise open floor for larger objects.

I have taken one seat out altogether and put in a slim line chest from Mobile Storage Systems on the wheel box and will be putting a smaller one behind the second row seats so you still have plenty of floor space and can access the seat easily. I will fix the smaller box in place with catches so that it can be easily removed if the whole flat floor area is required.

Putting a long box under the second row seats might be a better option accessible from the front - I'd be interested in that Thumbs Up

I think a better idea would be to come up with a long line drawer or split drawerrs which are a couple of hundred quid cheaper than the mobile storage drawers. they're too expensive for what they are.
