I purchased a roll of black industrial rubber chequer plate mat of ebay when I got my DC. The mat is approx 5mm thick and heavy ! I used it to cover just the load area and it works a treat.
I have some spare if you want some but it would be collect only due to the weight ! Bob |

Thanks for the offer Bob. Do you have any pics of it fitted?
I'm thinking of covering the wheel arch box area, probably fixing it, and making a floor mat that can be removed to clean it easily.......I've found out the length of the bed, but I can't find any other measurements.... The stuff I've seen is 3mm and sold in 1m & 1.2m widths. Think I could do what I want to with 2 metres, or go for 3 to be safe? Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |

Bit stuck to get a picture at the moment as my vehicle is in the dealers for warranty work.
If it comes back today I will get some pics for you. I have probably got at least 2 or 3 metres spare but will check over the weekend. The roll I have is closer to two metres wide but again I can check for you over the next couple of days. I also used it under the rear seats - it stops anything I put under there sliding about. Bob |

FOC - all you need to do is collect it.
If my vehicle is back this weekend I can get everything measured up for you. Bob |

I might have some left after I have sorted out Mark's requirements - I will let you know I got my vehicle back tonight so can do all the measuring over the weekend - before it goes back in again to find out exactly what has fallen apart in the passengers door - might be looking at a new door. Bob |

I used agricultural cow matting in the back of my 110. it's got ribs in it so you can hose it and the water will all travel in one direction. it's thick... about 15mm... and bluddy heavy! but it deadens the road noise quite well.
Comes in large sheets, think it's 8x4, same as plasterboard. but is flat, so if you want to do the "sides" of the tub you'd have to bolt/glue it in place. Got mine from the local WMF shop. |

Just done the sizing. To do the tub and all of the two wheel arches takes 2.2 metres by 1.2 metres, wheel arches take over a metre for both sides Not 100% sure how you will fit it to the wheel arches ? I have about 4.7 metres by 1.2 metres, so enough for both of you to do all of the rear tub but not under the rear seats. If I can blag an extra couple of metres from my colleague at work that will sort under the rear seats as well Bob |

Thanks Bob,
for the arches, I might actually use some large width double sided velcro or something. Not too worried about under the rear seat, to save you trying to blag some extra for me. We'll speak later in the week, but we're OK for Sunday matey Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |

Velcro will probably be OK as there will not be to much weight on the arch sides. Speak to you later in the week. Bob |
