Was that a genuine or aftermarket MAF sensor?
I've always stuck with genuine because they are supposed to be more reliable than aftermarket 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Are you using a K&N type filter? If so perhaps a little less dust trapping oil?

Also geniune can fail. Sometimes the fail completely i.e. no reaction on on different air flows but sometimes like yours just give lower values then they should. Like yours. The problem with that is that is happens over a longer time so you don't directely notice it till it gets real bad. Roel
