Hi thanks - I suppose thats possible but it would be all of them, plus the alarm works perfectly so I'm thinking the switches must be fine as that works when I open any of the doors (I have not checked the bonnet but I don't think that has an interior light function anyway)

My bet would be that they're turned off on the 10AS
The factory alarm controls the courtosey lights, they can be configured a few different ways. One of the settings is permanent off apart from manual switching 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Ah is that possible - How would I check or turn it back on - some sort of nanocom, mine only has couple of wires going to OBD so assumed mine doesnt have much functionality there?

Yup I see dome light is what I'm calling courtesy light - Thanks - I've got that in correct position. In the straightforward on position the come on fine, nothing on the other positions unless as I say you trigger the alarm and then they flash briefly

Yes you'd need to plug into nancocom or similar. The courtosey light options are something like Auto, Smart or off I seem to remember 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Thank you - that sounds like a goer. I just tried my crappy Carsoft 930i in it but no chance, it can't access that stuff. I noticed when I went out to it to try it that when I use the fob to turn off and on the alarm that the light also flashes once. So, off to find someone local with a Nanocom or Hawkeye with green adaptor. At least its not exactly urgent..
Thanks, when I've managed to try it I'll post up the results |

There are a few on here with Nanocom’s so it may be worth asking, and letting us know where you are.

Good idea - I'm in Gravesend close to M25 so can get to anyone in Kent, Surrey and South London (excluding emissions zone I think?)

Well done Grafty99 - spot on - I ended up buying a Nanocom on the group deal, plugged it in and found the interior lights on the as10 were not switched to "smart" - Changed setting and all resolved |

Ideal! A simple, albeit expensive, fix
The nanocom will come in useful I'm sure! You could leave it in for additional engine parameters whilst driving 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |
