Am I missing somthing here DSC.....let me get this right are you saying you have found a way to fix the Xeng to the new my15 column and your not willing to share !Sorry if im reading this wrong but to me it appears to go against the spirit of a specialised forum of like minded folk...........not all of us are mechanical marvels DSC..is this a not wanting to inform the theif thing ?

Interestingly, just working this same mod on my 2015.
Grinding the hold nice and neat is no problem I think, but surely the shield needs to be held in place/fixed, and as the shear bolt does not make contact with the barrel, that's an issue.

BTW, I talked to Foundary4x4 today, they had no good solution, and suggested returning the unit if you have a 2015 model.

you got through to f 4x4..i couldnt and they did not rturn my e mails last year .....dsc does appear happy with his bodge perhaps give him a pm .........its really bad form by f 4x4 not to mention their product does not fit my15 and later models (as designed)

Scotland 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Tamar Blue
Looking for advice fitting this, has everyone fitted it with the light switch and indicator stalk wires running at left hand side underneath the x-eng column lock where the transmitter thing sits or moved the cables to right hand side of steering column?

When I did mine, the cables stayed on the left but the energiser ring ended up cable tied to the bottom of the steering column.
